Frequently Asked Questions

What are the main services we offer?

FFP specializes in Dog Walking, Dog Running, and Overnight Pet Sitting. FFP also offers other customized services upon request.

How long are the walking and running sessions?

Our sessions range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes, based on the client’s needs.

Do our walkers have insurance?

Yes, all of our walkers and pet sitters are insured.

Where do we offer our services for walks, runs, and pet sittings?

Currently, FFP offers services in the Upper East Side, from East 42nd Street up to East 102nd Street, between Sutton Place/York Ave/1st Ave and 5th Avenue. Additionally, FFP also offers services in Long Island City and Astoria.

Where do we walk and run our dogs?

We typically walk and run our dogs through the neighboring streets. Some client-favorite places include Central Park, the East River walkway, and other calm neighborhoods.

Do we take our dogs to dog parks?

No, FFP does not take any of our dogs into dog parks. Additionally, we never walk or run with our dogs Off-leash.

What equipment do our walkers use with the dogs?

Our walkers use the harnesses and/or collars provided by the owners. This provides a smooth and stable environment in which trust and stability can be maintained with each of our dogs. Our walkers are trained to use a variety of harnesses and collars.

How do services begin?

Our first step is to set up a meet-and-greet, free of charge, where we get to meet the pup and their owners together, ideally in their home. This sets up a strong foundation for what can become a long-standing relationship between walker and pup. Upon assessment of habits and a trial walk/run around the block, a schedule can be set up, which can commence given services.

Are there any age requirements for our pups?

Not at all. Pups of all ages are invited to form a part of our FFP family. Our team is trained to provide companionship sessions to puppies who are taking their first steps. Daily habits and routines are vital in puppy development and growth, and our team is ready to assist. Additionally, our team is trained to provide patient and loving care to our pups that have reached an elderly age and are looking to get walking as well.
